The clinical function in Bahmni is all about helping doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals do their jobs more efficiently and provide better care to patients. It’s a system that brings together all the medical information they need, making it easy to access, update, and share.

Here are the functions of clinical in Bahmni.

a. After clicking on the clinical icon you will be redirected to the portal. So you will need to select your patient by clicking on the name or email.

b. After selecting the patient you will enter the patient surgery details, Lab test details, and all the things in the given column.

c. Now after entering all the details you will have to click on the consultation button.

d. After clicking on the consultation icon 1st you will enter the vitals details of your patient and blood details.

e. After entering the Vitals details please click on the diagnoses button and enter the details and click on the save button.

f. In the Disposition section you will need to select the discharge or transfer option for your patient.

g. Now, after moving from the Disposition button you will see the details in the consultation section for your patient in paragraph form which you have already entered. And if you want to enter some another details you can enter it.

h. In the order tab the doctor will assign you some test order for your health checkups

i. And now in the medications tab the doctor’s will pricribe the drugs to the patient by entering the name, dose and all.

j. And in the last tab the doctor will collect the sample for the test and the doctor’s will enter the notes regarding the sample. And last click on the save button.
